Soybean Oil Candles
Our candles are high quality, non-toxic, eco friendly and biodegradable. They contain pure cotton wicks and are also free of petrochemicals and toxins. We use only pure essential oils for scenting which provides valuable psychological benefits. The candles melt at only 2 degrees above body temperature and the melted oil wax is warm to the touch, allowing you to dip your finger into the soy oil without burning yourself. The heated oil can be massaged onto your skin for a hydrating effect and at 60 hours’ burning time makes the R180 cost even more worthwhile.
Spirited is the newest fragrance - fresh, exciting, unpredictable. Capturing all the underlying attributes of turquoise, the colour for 2010 – and the colour of these tantalizing aromatics.
Opulent, Decadent and Indulgent are the other three fragrances. The warm, woodsy perfume of Opulent creates a sense of extravagant wellbeing, while Decadent’s warm and relaxing scent eases your inhibitions. Indulgent’s aroma invigorates, stimulates and uplifts.
Simply Chic has created Ma Mére (French for ‘mother’) only for this mother’s day, capturing the mystique of a mother in a soft, floral fragrance.
Peekaboo is the baby range and presents a soft cuddly aroma. Fragranced oils have been used in the scenting of these candles. This creates a warm and cuddly aroma in the room whilst burning.
Room and Linen Sprays
Our room sprays are water based and scented with pure essential oils which means they are eco friendly and do not contain petrochemicals and toxins. Our room sprays can also be used as a linen spray to fragrance your linen, bath towels, etc. Cost: R95

The problem with paraffin wax candles:
Paraffin wax candles contain petroleum, which can fill the air with carcinogens and soot. The toxins and carcinogens that are released into the air while burning produces unhealthy indoor air quality. Paraffin wax candles also release high quantities of black soot, which can settle on unwanted areas and damage home interiors.
