Be Sharp Beetles is an interactive musical program that is fun, stimulating and interesting. There are currently 12 Franchises.
Be Sharp Beetles curriculum is specifically developed for South African children, incorporating different languages such as Sotho, Afrikaans, Zulu and English.
This musical program holistically changes the way your child thinks by using the right and left brain simultaneously. It helps stimulates problem solving abilities, increases memory, develops mathematical and reasoning abilities in a child.

We currently offer Be Sharp Beetles at 130 Nursery Schools across Johannesburg. We teach ± 2500 children a week. Be Sharp Beetles teachers meet weekly to discuss lesson plans and to ensure the quality of classes are excellent. Contact us if you want Be Sharp Beetles at your school/play group.

My daughter and I have been attending Be Sharp Beetles classes together since she was 10 weeks old.
Our Tuesday morning classes have been the highlight of our week. It has been an amazing journey to see how she has developed through music in the past 16 months. I completed my BA Communication degree at UJ in 2000. There after I fulfilled my lifelong dream and became a fight attendant. Then I worked in corporate in London for 2 years. After returning to SA, I fell pregnant and had the great privilege to stay home with my precious angel for 18 months. I decided to buy a franchise in 2009. It really is amazing to see the impact that music has on children's lives and their development. I love to see how a child changes from initially just observing the class to actually participating and the enjoyment they get out of it. As a mother you want what is best for your children. With my two children being older I wish I knew a few years ago what I know now about the benefits of music and movement. I really think it would have benefited my son who is ADHD. It is so rewarding to see how a child changes every time I see them. It gives me a sense of pride to know I am making a difference at the end of my day.
